How many articles a day are required to make a full time living with article marketing? 2? 10? More? Can I really write ONE article a day....and make a significant difference in my business....or is that simply too good to be true? And is there a certain amount I should expect to earn from every article I submit? STUMPED? In this article we are going to take a quick and easy look at some pretty common questions that many people ask about articles and QUANTITY...and figure out the BEST way for you to meet your goals through content marketing like this.
Is there a certain amount of quantify of content that I need to create to make a profit?
Absolutely, NOT....no. The fact is, every niche is different, and depending on what you are doing with your articles, you can have widely disparate results with the very same effort.
For example?
Certain niches simply convert better. And if you are an affiliate marketer, this is CRITICALLY important to determining how many articles you are going to need to write to make a lot of money.
Specifically......content in the really HIGH volume niches like diet, dating and divorce are very easy to get tons and tons of readers for, but often convert at well under 1%, meaning that you can drive thousands of visitors to your article and yet still not make much money.
Remember, if one article gets 1000 views per DAY, and 100 people click through to your offer (10% CTR which is probably around average) if the affiliate program you are promoting has a LESS than 1% conversion rate, you are looking at struggling to make ONE sale on that seemingly appealing article.
Said differently, and in the interests of time and space....article marketing as an AFFILIATE, is a strategy of scale. You need to figure out the RIGHT niches, that have the BEST converting traffic for your content....and then scale UP and out to meet your income needs. (I try to use a $50 LIFETIME value per article baseline for affiliate offers, and i find that is a good metric to use)
When you start to look at each article as a FIXED amount of money, it becomes easier to write lots of them..:-) Why? Because when they're finished, you are looking at PROFIT in them pixels......and words can be translated into dollars.
But ONE article per day is never going to make you rich, that I can promise. (no scale)
And, more importantly...in some niches, like this one for example.....you have to use an entirely DIFFERENT metric for measuring monetization. For example, I'm not selling an affiliate product or program here.....so it's more about relationships, and rapport, my BRAND and building MY business. (not as an affiliate) So there, you have to measure your article's by how many of your readers become subscribers...and then how many of your subscribers become customers and clients...and then reverse engineer the process BACK to the value of each article you write.
If it sounds difficult, it's not. It's exciting - and exhilarating, and the sort of stuff you NEED to figure out if you are ready, able and WILLING to do this work as well.
